Fibromatosis

My little girl  who is 8 months  has had surgery performed to remove two boils situated on  the 3rd and 5th toes on her right foot, the tests done on  it show that it is a "  Fibromatosis , Nail Bed " and there is no histiological features of malignancy however the boils have reappeared and the doctor who performed the surgery says theres nothing that can be done and that it wont affect her in any way and everytime surgery is doen it would reappear. please help.

fibromas are indeed benign.  they tend to have a recurrency rate if not removed entirely.
sometimes, surgeons miss some of the tissue, which can regrow.
I would wait until she is older to have them removed so there is more tissue to evaluate and the surgeon is better able to remove the entire specimen.
