Foot injury

Doctor told me that x-ray showed that I may have had an injury ( i must have, was stomping on the floor pretty hard at a metal show and it hurt immediately that night ) but that there were no breaks or fractures and that it could take a while to heal.

I hear some cracking when I move it around. Is this a sign of something serious or will it heal within a few weeks?

not sure what you have.  i recommend getting a repeat x-ray 2 weeks after to see if you have a hairline fracture (which usually appears several weeks after the initial injury)
