I cannot walk on my foot!

Hello,  
I woke up in the middle of the night with extreme pain on the bottom of my foot bellow my toes.  I can't stand any pressure on it when I stand but there is very little pain when I push on the area with my hand.  I had no pain before I went to bed but had a dream about breaking my foot.  I was out on my boat yesterday so I did a lot of jumping up and down from the bow to the deck, about a four foot drop.  Should I just rest and it will go away or should I go see my doctor?

i would recommend an x-ray to see if you have a fracture.  if not, it could be a bone bruise which can be helped with ibuprofen, ice, supportive shoes, and possible padding to offload the painful area.
