Matching Bruises under big toe nails
I just removed the nail polish from my toes and found matching dark spots under both of my big toe nails.  They look like bruises, but do not hurt.  The are along the inside edge on both nails.  I have been doing more walking/standing than usual lately, but I do not remember any pain or hitting either of my feet.  Any ideas what this may be?

you may have irritated the nail when walking in shoes and caused it to mildly bleed.  the nail will have to grow out b/f the discoloration disappears.
