Occassional burning toes

Sometimes the top of my 3 toes on my left foot feel like they burn.  It doesn;t hurt, just uncomfortable.  The sensation doesn't last though. It comes and goes.

I can't seem to pinpoint a time where it happens most.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Burning sensations occur when there is an insult to the nerves.
Sometimes the insult can result from shoe pressure, circulatory problems, diabetes, alcohol abuse, or idiopathic (for no reason at all!).
If the numbess starts to involve more toes or begins to last longer, get it examined by a podiatrist.

I have the same thing.. I am curious to see any answers on this.  I usually notice it most first thing in the morning but it can occur anytime for just a few seconds.
