Possible fracture???

Is it possible for a fracture to occur at the ankle without:
Swelling
Pain
Tenderness to the touch
Discoloration or bruising

I landed on the shallow sand straight down from standing on my surfboard ending up with my foot in a plantar flexed position.  This was a few days ago and nothing out of ordinary happened (the above items).  I do notice though there is a solid bone growth/ridge towards the anterior side of the fibula.  I did break the growth plate in my ankle over 10 years and I got it professionally taken care of and maybe think that is what happened after it healed.  I just never noticed it before.

I was hoping to get what your honest thoughts are.  I know ultimately the decision is up to me to get it checked out so please do not worry about that.

you should have the symptoms above if you had a fracture in the ankle unless you have neuropathy and can not feel pain.
i think that the bump is your old fracture.  if it doesn't hurt to walk and run, i doubt that you have a fracture.
