Squishy White Things Coming Out of Bump on Foot

A few months ago I got what looks like a blister/callous. The bump didn't look like anything serious so I left it alone. But then it started to hurt; the sensation is similar to stepping on something sharp. The pain comes and goes. Again, I thought it was just a blister kind of thing and left it alone. After another month or so, I started investigating it a little more.

On top of the bump was what looked to be a circle of clearer skin, and I thought it was fluid. I figured I'd pop the damn thing and be over with it. So I start pulling off some layers of skin and getting into the bump. Under the skin was a hole that went down into the flesh of my foot. After wiping away the blood, I saw what I thought was frayed skin. I pulled on one of the frays and it came loose. It was small, white, and looked a little squishy. I kept pulling out more and more of them. I don't know what they are, I'm guessing some sort of parasite? Or maybe it's really just skin? I squeezed one of the white things and fluid came out though . . . They feel a little rubbery too. As far as size goes, I'd say they're not much more than centimeter long. Some are skinny some are fat.

Either way, out and don't know what to do about it. I don't know if I should go to a doctor or if I can buy something over the counter.

Any help is extremely appreciated!!!

it is difficult to diagnose this without seeing it, but i am guessing you may have a sebaceous cyst.  soak your foot in epson salts and warm water.  if they continue to hurt, see a physician to see if there is a foreign object (splinter/ceramic shard) located in the wound.
