Strange Dryness on Right Foot

Hello,
For several months now I have had this circular spot on my foot that stays very dry. I remove all the dead skin when I can. It stays pink and has slightly darker spots in the circular pattern and is usually itchy but not always. It now has a diameter of about an inch and a half and slowly gets bigger. I don't think its contagious, because i share a shower and it has not spread to any other of the people and it does not spread to my other foot or anywhere else on my foot. I work on my feet a lot if that helps. I have used anti-fungal cremes on it and it seems to not help. I have also moisturized it many times. I am just curious what it is and how i can get rid of it. Any help would be greatly welcomed. Thank You

It sounds like you have granuloma annulare.  It can present in many ways but is notorious for having a circular ring pattern with dry skin.
I would apply a moderately strong cortisone cream (Westcort .2%- generically called Beclomethasone ) to the area twice daily for 3 weeks.
But, to be on the safe side, I would see a dermatologist to make sure that it is not a squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma.  It is difficult for me to assess this b/c I can't acutally see it.  If there is question, a small biopsy can help diagnose the lesion.
