No ma'am, The only thing that has ever happened to this toe, is when I was 12 yrs. old,
I had a ingrown toenail cut out. They removed the hole nail by sliding a flange of a pair of scissors, slid it under the nail to seperate the nail from my toe. And pulled. It was very painful. But it did grow back and I have never had a problem until now. Since I have listed this it has turned even more and is becoming painful.Thank you for your time  RJH

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
did this occur after recent trauma to the toe?  sometimes, an injury can disrupt the nail root (which is at the base of the toe) and create abnormal nail growth.
