feet ones hurts while walking

hi, i have this problem that while going fora walk specialy brisk walk i feek pain in the sesamoids bones(the bones which is slightly coming out just below the big toe bone at which point the foot has the maximum width for the toe. i hope i am decsribing it the way it should be.
what is wrong with me as its really hard to go for brisk walk for me running is nearest to impossible.

you need to get an x-ray to rule out fractures.  if the x-rays are questionable, get both feet filmed for comparison.  if all looks well, an mri can show if soft tissue damage (ie plantar plate) is affected.
if everything is normal, an orthotic with a sesamoidal cut out can help reduce pressure to the area.  also, new running shoes with thick socks (i like the brand Thorlo's) can help cushion the sesamoid.
