bunions splints don't correct the bunion but can provide relief by temporarily realigning the joint when sleeping. stretching out the shoes to prevent rubbing on the bunion helps. wearing orthotics can help stabilize the joints in the foot and sometimes slow the progression of bunions..but do not get rid of them.
anti-inflammatories (advil) and cortisone injections to the area can help too.
if the pain is severe and nothing helps, i recommend having it surgically corrected.
Thank you. Now I will not buy any of the gadgets publicized..
