stinging pain in feet, legs and arms

I have a B12 deficiency and take a monthly shot. For the last eight months, I have experienced stinging pains in my legs, feet and mostly lower arms. Iam afraid to sleep and I'am post menopausal. Iam real scared and it's caused me alot of anxiety. I had two stomach staple operations years ago and wonder if that is part of the reason I have this. Can you help?

ask your GP to work you up for some diseases that may cause this: Lupus, Thyroid Dz, MS, Lyme DZ and HLA B27 testing.
if all is negative, you probably have peripheral neuropathy that can be caused by B12 dificiency.
medications such as lyrica, Gaba pentin, and cymbalta can help the pain.
a nerve conduction test can also rule out nerve impingements in the spine that may cause this radiculopathy type pain.
