I have a two year old son that has been sick with whatever this is for almost a year now. It started in January 2008 with another episode in May 2008 and now again in September 2008. We have had tests run, a scope surgery you name it and still no solid diagnosis or how to treat it. His symptoms consist of vomiting (mostly undigested food and a very distinct terrible odor - not like a stomach flu), watery bowl movements and immediatly after eating whether it be a meal or two bites of a cracker his stomach swells up like a balloon and within a few hours he vomits, then we start over again. He has been hospitalized twice resulting from this condition, one time he was diagnosed with TEC and temporary bone marrow disorder that they said could have been brought on by this chronic vomiting. My pediatrician has given us medicine for gastritis and also Prevacid to no avail. He has been tested for Pylori that were negative back in June of 2008. We are very frustrated at this point since this seems to be coming on about every 3-4 months. What can we do to prevent this, what are we doing wrong?
