Acid Reflux, IBS and Spastic Colon

I was diagnosed with GERD, IBS and a spastic colon about 6 yrs ago. After undergoing an EGD and a Colonoscopy I decided to radically change my diet. That seemed to help for many years. I have since fallen back into very bad eating habits and once again I am living with pains and discomfort almost too varied to describe. My joints hurt, my bones hurt, my gallbladder is in a constant state of dull pain, I feel full after even the smallest meal but sick after any meal with high fat content. The pain just below my rib, upper right side has been aching for close to a week now. My throat hurts and I cough usually as I lay down for a nights rest. I don't have insurance and can not afford all the testing I keep reading about on this forum. I have an arrythmia so I opted against the "little purple pill". I do not take vitamin c well at all. It burns my stomach. I have been encourged to recently start a baby aspirin a day, (I am female, 51, in menopause) a good daily vitamin and Vitamin C. I agonized over the aspirin as aspirin always upsets my stomach, as does the Vitamin C so the two together put me in quite a panicd. I am really not sure what direction I should go anymore since it seems every thing is hurting. I am taking some college classes and went to the health center. The nurse ordered all kinds of blood tests on me since I had a little white spot in the back of my throat, it was not strep so the nurse suggested it was probably something viral. My blood tests came back pretty normal except for my white blood cell count. It was low, at 3.4. I am worried about that because of course from what I read, low white counts could be cancer, or hiv. I am at a loss which way to turn. Any ideas?

Hi,
Not all cases of low white cell count indicate cancer.
You are suffering from functional bowel disorder. I would suggest the following for you -

1. PPI or H2RA  for reflux/dyspeptic symptoms
2. Antispasmodics and antidepressants for IBS/spastic colon.
