Acid Reflux: My 3 month old
my baby is 3 months old. She has acid reflux. She is currently taking 0.5 ml of zantax or zantex  (but the generic kind) .The dr put her on it when she was smaller in weight. it seems that this dosage is not worker anyloner as she is crying and more fussy. My first question is: should she be on a higher dosage now. She is about 11-12 pounds now? And does the brand name of this product work better?  Is there a better medicine to help the burning more than the zantax? Thank You in for any help with this.

Hi...u would be best to ask this question to the Dr or pharmacist as they know the meds and weight ratio better then we would.

As for what u can do in the meantime....

Have u tried keeping ur child in an upright position after feeding?

I had this issue with my DD and used a swing....it helps, as they can go to sleep and it helps with the aid of gravity to keep the acids down where they belong.

just a thought.<3
