Acid Reflux in my 6.5 month old baby

My baby is 6.5 months old and i couldn't nurse for the first month due to my medical condition. She was on Similac Advance. After a week, one night she cried for 3 hours and then her pediatrician told us to switch her formula to Similac Isomil Advance(Soy formula) stating that she might have problem with breaking the milk protiens. No tests were done to confirm that. She gained weight very slowly i.e. 1 pound a month. Her stools smelled very bad. She was still gassy, fussy & spat up a lot. After 5 months she started spitting up too much. Almost after every feeding. She doesnt drink too much at a time. She only had 4 - 5 ounces till 5 months. Now she has around 5 ounces. She has Acid reflux now. She eats oatmeal and spinach & carrots. Her pediatrician has put her on Zantac, but we are not keen on giving her medicines. I switched her formula back to Similac Advance. Its been a week now. She had loose stools (one bowel movement a day) for the past 2 days. She still has Reflux. What can we do to help cure her Acid Reflux?. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi...I know u r frustrated and upset to see ur little one in distress like this.

Have u been told to elevate the head of the bed??...it can help.

And not sure if a milk bank was suggested......u can get breast milk when mom can not supply herself and it might be the answer since ur little one is having issues which could be the formula's.
