Acid reflux? Not sure...

Acid reflux? Not sure...

I went to the ER, and this has been going on randomly for around 2 years... But I've been feeling nauseated and bloated.. But sometimes the pain gets so bad I feel like I can't breathe, when I inhale it causes sharp pains. I have had stomach burning and my throat burns, and sometimes when I burp I regurgitate what I assume would be some sort of acidic matter, as it burns and makes my throat scratchy. So I believe it could be acid reflux, but would it really cause such pain that I'd feel as if I couldn't breathe? I feel the pain toward the bottom of my ribcage in the middle, but my lower abdomen will feel sore also. It seems worse if my stomach is empty.. But I'm feeling nauseated all day, I'm not pregnant and I would just like some answers, it is very frustrating. No doctor seems to be able to give me a solution.

Hi,
Acid reflux can cause shortness of breath.
An upper GI endoscopy and 24 hours pH monitoring test would be helpful to confirm the diagnosis.
