Are these symptoms of GERD ?

Hello all,
It all started as a mild sore throat ( scratchy feeling )..Along with it i had bowel movements right after (max  5 to 10 mins ) eating any food..had to rush to toilet ...This digestive problem resolved within a week after my doc prescribed gastritis medicines...But the sore throat is still persistent....Now it has been a month and a half...Now i have coughs and feeling of something stuck in my throat...Occasionally, sour taste in mouth as though i had fever but no fever..And mild pain under my jaws near the glands....Could this be silent reflux disease or some other disorder or infection?

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

It is possible it is LPR ( Silent Reflux) but it is possible it could be something else....Do see your Dr to determine what is going on and the right course of treatment.

Let us know what you find out.
