Athlete suffering from stomach problems

Extensive description and timeline of my problem. If you recognize any of this, especially the bloating during the running when I ate something within 3.5 hours of my training, please reply. You have to know that before the 1st of December, I could eat a whole meal half an hour before training and don't have any problems with it whatsoever. And this has been so all my life.

Please help. It has been over 2 months now. I have been taking medication that doesn't help me. I have been to doctors who can't explain the problem. I'm seeing a specialist now but any help is welcome.

I saw a specialist the day before yesterday and he said I probably never had any real problems with stomach acid. The problem was that my stomach was overloaded due to a too high amount of fibers, which caused other organs to start malfunctioning too. It's my pancreas that according to him is not producing any enzymes anymore (or not enough) to digest the food. So my food just stays undigested in my stomach and it takes ages for it to digest. So now I have to avoid fibers at all costs and take fake fibers and fake pancreas enzymes (pancreatine) 2 and 3 times a day.

During the last 2 months I have thus actually made my situation worse. If lowered my stomach acid, reducing the digestion speed of fibers, and ate also a lot of fibers, because I was told that this keeps the stomach busy thus reducing the effects of GERD. So in conclusion : always be careful about what you hear from a doctor. They are not always right ! Search for second opinions or you might end up as me worsening your situation for 2 months by listening to those 3 normal doctors ... Specialists rule !
