Around 10 months ago, I developed heart burn and reflux and severe nausea and moderate bloating when I wake up. I was in stressful times so I related it to my stress. I took PPIs and domperedone for 4 months then stopped gradually as I've became in a better psychological condition . The reflux and heartburns were reduced significantly and became drastically less frequent and related to spicy meals or fast food. The thing is, I still wake up with bloating and nausea in the morning till now. I haven't had a single morning since it started unless I wake up with bloating and nausea even if I'm on meds. I tried taking 2x10mg domperedone before I sleep but it does nothing.
I'm 23, I don't smoke or drink alcohol. BMI <25.
I don't know what should I do next, any advice?
hi . i've ben experiencing the same thing. everytime i wake up there's this bad taste in my mouth and nausea. i was diagnosed with acid reflux in december. i feel better now(nausea lesser than it was first diagnosed) but the bitter taste is still there. how's your weight?
I weigh 70kg and I'm 173cm tall. I'm far from being overweight so I don't think it's relevant.
I don't experience a weird taste, just bloating that increases when I stand up or by the time I wash my face and teeth.
