Hi Im Mobi 20y/o asian. At times I experience acid/ingested food reflux but not all the time. I do have peptic ulcer w/c started when I was a kid but not that severe not unless I skip meals. Also I do get a lot of burps every hour, mainly just air coming out. Just last night I experienced burping many times, and regurgitation/reflux of sour liquid (might be my stomach content). I didnt mind it and kept on drinking water to clear up that sour after taste when I burped. When I woke up this morning, I just ate bread and milk. As Ive noticed a few seconds (1-2 sec) I swallowed, I can feel a sharp, throbbing and nagging pain at my back (exactly at the level of my nipples or heart on the opposite side). The pain is somewhat nagging and goes away after a few seconds (probably because the food has advanced to the stomach). This only happens when I start to swallow food mainly SOLID. I dont have any difficulty of swallowing, the pain starts a few seconds after I SWALLOWED the food.
Question:
>Is there a possibility that the pain I felt was due to the acid reflux I experienced the night before that MIGHT caused an erosion in my esophagus. If so, why is it that the pain is at my back and not in the front where the esophagus is anatomically located?
> Is this could be a esophageal motility problem?
I hope to hear soon from one of the Doctors here. thanks!
