Hi, no i have not not been sick with this yet, i hate being sick lol and would never make my self be sick lol, i took some Valluim yesterday and it helped me loads my symptoms went and i was not as worried as much as i normally am, maybe this is anxiety??

hey marc I totally understand I am 20 yrs old and I am going through the same thing I called my new GI today, I will be going to him tmw. I don't know exactly what you are worried about but I am really worried mostly abot long term effects. Doctor says I am young and it shouldn't be too bad...who knows though? I would say try and look into a GI doctor I recently found out all of these symptoms are related yesterday and had no idea and I too freaked out...Have you thrown up? Do you make youself throw up? My doctor says that that would be a bad indicator (something is very wrong) Hang in there we are here for you. I hope this helped and if you need to talk feel free to let it out!

I have been having difficulty breathing where i have to keep taking deep breaths, feels like my heart is racing at times, have some muscle twitching all over my body and my throat feels like it has something stuck in it, although the symptoms never seem as bad if iam not thinking about it sometimes even go completely, but when i do have these symptoms it drives me crazy, i am only 18 and its scaring the **** out of me, i went to the hospital and had an ECG done and the nurse said my heart was slightly beating to fast also had my BP done and he said it was slighlty high (but he said it might be because i was stressed about the test) he also checked my oxygen levels but they were fine, i also had a chest x ray and nothing was wrong with that, also had blood tests and they were also fine,

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

Yes, some will get heart palps while others may have difficulty with their breathing......everyone is different...u do not have to feel heart burn to have gerd.

I have had this too at times...mostly when doing excersize though. what about you? what are your symptoms? I am new here.
