Can you have Acid Reflux without acidity

Is it possible to have Acid Reflux (GERD) without having acidity or heartburn? I have been very fatigued, gagging and just run-down with constance acid back-up to my tongue leaving a white film. I've been told by 3 doctors that it is Acid Reflux, but it doesn't follow the standard set og problems I read about on-line.

My son with CP was diagnosed with acid reflux but after the ph probe tested negative for acid portion. He also had an endoscopy which showed esophagitis. The esophagitis is connected to an allergy. He also has had a stuffy nose lately is this related to reflux or is this not related?
