Can't run, can't dance.... can't do much

Gallbladder gone two years ago. No GERD in regular, non- exercise living. But I've had to give up running, squash and hockey... as 30 seconds after beginning jogging or skating.... the acid boils up and my chest and throat are on fire. I'm guessing (with a bit of research here) that I might be in need of a "fundoplication", an operation to help reinforce the closing function of the lower esophageal sphincter so the damned acid can't get up?

Sound familiar anyone??? Anyone had the operation?

Hi,
Fundoplication is the last resort for treating reflux.
Take PPI. Avoid large meals before sport activities.
