Changes in Bowels

I am a 33 yr old female who over the past year has noticed a change in the shape and consistency of my stool. In that I mean, it comes out unformed and therefore would be termed loose. I have no pain, cramping or bloating. Normal habit for me is 2-3 /day which has not changed. I have also been having absorption issues in that medications such as iron supp had to be changed from oral to IV because the oral forms were proving to be ineffective as were pain meds like tylenol or motrin. They too had to be changed. I do not not know how other nutrients were being taken absorbed. What are your thoughts on this issue?

Any abdominal discomfort?
Any weight loss?

I'm 33, I do not have abdominal discomfort. I've not had any significant weight loss, maybe a few pounds that could be attributed to going to the gym 4 times per week.
