Coffee and GERD

I've read that coffee is one of the worst culprits for acid reflux. I have tried quitting but don't seem to have the will power. How important is it that I stop drinking coffee?

Hi there,

You don't have to stop drinking coffee.  Just start making your coffee a bit weaker or use decaf and you should feel an improvement in GERD symptoms.

Small steps and small changes that makes the difference.  Try it and share with us if it works for you :)

We all react differently to various food/ drinks so I would say if it has an adverse effect then stop - if not then drink it in moderation.
