Constantly being sick and nuasea for 4 years! please help

Hi, Im so glad Ive found this forum!

I have a major problem that is affecting my whole life and everything I do.

I am a 22 year old male and have had this constant sickness and nausea for over 4 years now. Ever since I have had a baby Ive always been a "sicky" but the last 4 years have been horrendous. Im constantly being sick or feeling sick. It feels like my throat is closing sometimes and Im just heaving all the time. Its ruined my life!! I have lost a few girlfriends over this because we can't even go out with out me being sick.]

Anxiety and nerves make it a lot worse but they seemto trigger it, but there not the cause as I have this 24/7 and Im not a nervous person.

I have had a gasto tube in to my stomach and it revealed GERD as my eusphogus was raw and red, but the Proton Pump Inhibitor tablets or the other acid tablets do NOTHING to stop the nausea, sickness. I just feel full all the time and bloated, and when Im not bloated my throat feels really tight and I can't even talk

Im visiting my local hospital specalist but he seems to be baffled and can oly tell me that they may never fix this that I cant deal with as all my friends are out enjoying themselves and I feel like a burden to everyone.

Please help me. Ive also had thyroid and numerous blood tests and all came back normal

Also I did drink quite a lot and Ive stopped that and I did smoke but Ive stopped that but neither have improved the condition

Hi,
You have signs and symptoms of GERD with reflux esophagitis.
For complete relief of symptoms you need to take PPI twice a day for 4-8 weeks
Lifestyle modifications is also needed for complete relief of symptoms.
Lifestyle modifications -
1. Head elevation while sleeping
2. Small frequent meals
3. Going to bed 2- 3 hours after food
4. Avoiding bed time snacks
5. Avoiding smoking and alcohol
6. Avoiding tight fitting clothes
7. Avoiding cola, citrus drinks, carbonated drinks, tea, coffee, spicy food
8. Weight reduction

If there is no improvement a reevaluation has to be done with 24 hours pH monitoring test to confirm the diagnosis.
Once it is confirmed the last option is surgery.

Hi,
As I said earlier, if there is no improvement a reevaluation has to be done with 24 hours pH monitoring test to confirm the diagnosis.
Once it is confirmed the last option is surgery.
If you have little acid in the stomach, you wont be having symptoms of GERD and reflux esophagitis which you are having now.
