Digestive enzymes- which ones worked for you?

by LazyMoose, May 26, 2009 07:44PM
There are so many digestive enzymes out there. What worked for you? I don't want to try them all!

Have improved my diet for a year and it helped (analyzed). I really miss Pizza and beer! I have used papaya and bromeline pills for meat (after all these are the ingredients in meat tenderizers). Helped a little, not much though. Have used a multi enzyme with the acids in it. Again, not much difference.

I am trying to take something other than D-limonene when my gerd acts up. D-limonine (orange peel extract) seems to help but I dont want to take this for ever. It is natural but really acts like a band aid on the problem of slow digesting. This is a great product to get gerd under control in the early stages!  Being hypothyroid, I may have less acid (slow digestion) that caused the gerd in the first place, this is also why I want to try digestive enzymes (again).
