Discomfort in the throat

I am 33 years old male working in BHutan Customs. way back in 2003 I was diagonised for a chronic gastritis and i was treated for it. after that i was ok for almost 2 to 3 years but since then i started experiencing discomfort in my throat. I have to constantly clear my throat to speak up anything. usually this occurs in the morning session afte breakfast and lasts for 2-3 hours. this problem has aggravated now a days and it occurs sometimes in the evening and as well after dinner. i dont have any pain in my throat but the irritation and discomfort is in mu throat is very disgusting. i would like to get treated for it but doctor just ignores it saying it is just pharyngitis. to add further i have been chewing tobacco for 20 years now. other realted problem i get are sometimes stomach pain and flatulence. I would be very happy if any experts would shed some light on it and provide me some solution.
