Does my 1yr old child have GERD

My daughter is 13 months old and she one of the symptoms for GERD. My daughter has been drinking Enfamil w/ Lipil since she was born. when she had turned 9 months I started making her drink Next Step which is also Enfamil but for 9-24months. When she turned on I started to give her half formula and have real fresh milk so that way i can ween her off the formula. I did that process for a week. During that process she was spitting up.then after a week I went cold turkey on her and simply gave her real fresh milk and no more formula. When I started giving her regular milk she started to show this symptom of vomiting after every meal and snack. At first I  thought that maybe she wasn't digesting her food properly but after monitering her I had decided to take her to her doctor to see what the problem was. I was told that maybe it's her milk and to try giving her soy milk. then her pediatrician also prescribed to her Zantac. She thought that maybe she has acid reflux. Now after reading hundreds of articles on acid reflux and GERD I thinking twice that maybe my daughter has something else. She doesn't have any symptoms of the two. The only symptom she has is just vomiting. She's a fine healthy child that loves to play, sleeps well at night and during naps, eats anything and everything, no coughing, or fusiness. so does she have GERD? her vomit does have a stench to it when it comes out. and it's not spit ups for sure. I am a first time mommy and kinda need advice on what should I do.

Hi,
Poor little thing and its a worry for you too.
I think also it would be a good idea to go back to the routine you had before with the milk.
One symptom you could look out for with gerd is swallowing.
my son had this and he would constantly swallow, more so at night.
If she is doing this at night, it can be dangerous, so keep an eye on her.
good luck...

Hi...wish I knew more about these isssues, but I wonder if u tried to put her back on the 9 month to 24 month formula?......she may have a problem with dairy products.

Since she was fine b4 the real milk, I would go back to what worked and try again a little later on.

Best wishes
