Eosinophilic Esophagitis

by canamkdi55, Oct 26, 2008 05:18PM
I'm 15 years old and have been diagnosed with EE for the last two years. The doctors say my case is different than most others and from what I have researched they are right. I have most of the symptoms including a high count of eociniphills, heartburn, allergies, and food getting stuck in my throat, but I also expierince constant severe pain in my chest not caused by the food in my throat. I have tried a limited diet for the last year and a half. I have also tried pregnizone tablets, cortizone inhalers, and an injected shot and none of them have seemed to make a huge difference. I also tried neurofeedback which worked for a little while, but the pain came back and is currently plaguing me in my every day life. If anyone has any tips please reply to this or email me at ***@****.
