Feeling of Something in My Throat & Upper Back Pain

I have had the feeling of something stuck in the left side of my throat for 5 months.  It went away for awhile when I started taking a natural thyroid supplement.  However it is back with a vengeance.  I am waiting to get in to see a GI.  A few months ago I got into an ENT.  He looked at my throat with a scope through my sinus and said my throat looked bruised.  He then asked if I have any stomach troubles.  I said that I burp a lot.  He said its GERD and gave me a list of stuff to do.  He did not prescribe any meds but said if it got bad to get a prescription from my GP.  However before that I had a barium test & the Dr advised that there was no sign of acid reflux.  I'm not real confident about the ENT diagnosis.

Along with the throat thing is a constant pain in my upper left back.  I don't know if they are connected.  Occasionally it goes away for a few days but always comes back.  Chyro & Physio don't seem to help.

Any suggestions.  I am worried.

Hi...it is possible that u r eating or drinking something that may cause a flare of reflux...and u should be seen by a GI dr...to know for sure...u r right, an ENT is not the one u want dxing ur digestive issues.
