Fullness under left ribs, chest heaviness and flutters in chest.... HELP??!

Can anyone please tell me what this illness could be or what I can ask the Doc to look for? I am suffering with fullness under my central/left ribs, when my stomach is pushed you often hear noise like water. Also sharp pains down my left side usually in a pinpoint between 2 of my lower ribs. Lump just to the left of my belly button, which isn't always there, just often. When its pushed its like its air, but it always cums up at the same place. But what worries most is the tightness and heaviness in my chest which is constant. Can be centre and/or left. And I often get this horrid feeling which i thought was heart flutters but now not sure if is throats spasms. It fels a bit like I'm holding my breath low in my throat and I feel like I'm short of breath but I am getting enough. Or like a burp which got stuck at the bottom of my throat and flutters. It scares me. And it can happen when I'm lying down or out and about. I also feel like theres a lump at the bottom of my throat. In the mornings I can often feel a blood/metallic taste in my mouth. This started over a year ago, at which time I had heart xray, CAT scan (because I had head pains as well, but I'm told it was TMJ), bloodworks, and an abdominal ultrasound, all of which were fine. I found out I was pregnant and during my third trimester I don't remember feeling any of these symptoms. 12 weeks postpartum, the symptoms returned, which was a month ago. I went to the Doctor and she prescribed 10mg amitriptyline without even examining me, saying it was anxiety. What else can I do? Its because of these symptoms I get anxious, I have a history of panic attacks since this started. I do have a lot of IBS type symptoms. But I'm terrified I have stomach cancer or stomach ulcer. I am 24 years old, non smoker and non drinker. Theres no chance I could br pregnant.

hi,
i have identical problems as yours. Mine started about a month ago. First it felt like tightness, chestiness ...Sometimes sharp pains, but over time it developed in this constant pain in my epigastric area with the ball that I can't swallow. It feels as somebody is squeezing my esophagus and it radiates to both my lungs making me hard to breath...
I should add that my stool test showed positive for H-pylory, for which I am being treated with these horrible antibiotics that in my opinion made things even worse...
After I finish with the course (tomorrow is my las day), I'll go back to my dr and see what to do next...
No PPI helped as well, and I've tried them all-now I am on Nexium and it does not make any difference...
Good luck in discovering what it is...:-((
