GERD, Bad breath, Flatulence

Hello,
Can someone help me understand and fix the my problem below?
I have GERD that results in severe bad breath. I know it's GERD because all other treatments for bad breath have not worked and also, I can feel the acid come up to my throat, despite my fundoplication surgery. Although, I don't have any heartburn. Almost never.
Interestingly, the GERD happens after every meal. If I have a bowl movement right after the food, the GERD subsides. It's almost like there's not enough space in my gut and the bowl movement makes space for the newly incoming food. Happens after every single meal. If there's no bowl movement, the bad breath is really bad.
I've tired reducing my food intake quantity. But, even 1/2 pita bread with some lettuce and chicken causes the GERD. That's really very less food.
Anyone else have the problem? Any ideas on how to deal with this? I've been on prescription PPIs and other OTC antacids. Those help, but not enough.
The only solution that's working so far, is to skip a meal completely. But I get really hungry and cranky. IF there's no other solution, this is what I'll do. But rather not.

HI...sorry H2 inhibators...like pepcid...u can get it rx strenght. They work differently than the PPI's like prilosec.

I am not sure, but my dad had it for yrs too...it was mis dx'd....if u r on a antibiotic it can go away....but it can return...that is the biggest problem.

Ask about probiotics....see what the GI dr says.

What's HII? Google isn't returning any results for this.
The surgery was about 5 years ago. Reducing weight around my waist seems to help, but never been normal. I remember having the same problem in my childhood when I ate too much. I'm going to try and reduce the food intake qty. but don't know if that'll help eliminate the problem.
Will do more research on H.Pylori. But, if the problem has existed for so long, wouldn't it be something other than an bacterial infection?

There is a condition called silent reflux....u do not have the heartburn ect....

Have u tried HII inhibators instead of PPI's...I took PPI's for yrs and  then they stopped working for me....the HII's are doing the trick for me.....and I am doing the other things with diet also.

The only other thing I can think of is...how long since ur surgery?

Have u been checked for bacteria like H. Pylori?

Skipping meals can cause more acid to build up...that is not an answer...see ur GI dr and ask about changing meds and /or getting checked for H.Pylori.
