GERD/Acid Reflux

I have been struggling with Acid Reflux since my child was born (19 months ago).  I have been to the doctor many times.  At first I thought is was my asthma.  After reading many forums and doing some research I revisited my doctor and am now on aciphex. (3 months)  I still get burning in my upper back between my shoulder blades.  I have been to ER for chest pains, and they ran complete bloodwork, EKG, and chest x-ray.  Everything came back fine and he referred me to a counselor. (Which I had been to for anxiety and am doing better with panic attacks) I do have anxiety as well since the baby was born.  I know these are all linked but I am still having discomfort daily.  My doctor seems to write it off when I visit him as anxiety.  I am scheduled to have an endoscopy.  Is there something I'm missing?  Shouldn't aciphex be fixing the reflux?  I know which foods flare my reflux and have not been eating them but it seems like every meal I get burning in my upper back shoulder blades.  Any thoughts would be appreciated. Hi..u r doing many of the things u need to, but stress and anxiety will feed the gerd.
U do need to try and relax and enjoy ur child...ur stress can also stress the baby.

I know , bcuz I did that too!!

I have had this come and go over the yrs.I also have a hiatial hernia which can be a factor as well.

Elevate the head of ur bed and keep on watching ur diet..and as u relax u may find u no longer need the meds.
