My 3 year old son has had 3 stridor attacks in the past 3 months, 1 Emergency vomiting slight blood.  So far Childrens Hospital believes this is GERD, swollen arytenoids(cartilage) around larynx causes respiratory problems as well.  He has frequent vomiting daily with gagging and chronic cough.  Coughing and gagging throughout the night.  He is now on Prilosec 20mg daily.  I have changed his diet a few days ago.  No more dairy products.  He has yet to undergo endoscopy/bronchoscopy to further diagnose.  Will this get better in the throat as time goes on?  Right now the ER has to give racemic epinephrine every time he gets to swollen in the throat. It happens very acute and is very sudden and most often in the midddle of the night.   It is extremely frightening?  Any help here?
