GERD Problem?

I have been diagnosed with GERD a while ago, but i'm experiencing more problems now. I was put on lansoprazole and for a while it was working, but now i find myself feeling the burning returning to my throat and almost everyday for the last little while, I keep getting burps stuck, and they won't come up. It takes a while for them to come up, and when they get stuck my throat burns from the acid, and it's hard to breathe. I've tried rubbing my stomach, taking tums sometimes, drinking sodas, bending over and anything I've been recommended, I was just wondering if you have any iodea what it could be, or what you could recommend.
