Gerd?

The question I have is this. I have been suffering from Acid Reflux for years.

Can Gerd cause a stuffy noise with a cough. Both produce a clear sticky mucas. No discoloration at all.

Hi,
PPI is  better than H2RA.
But there is one exception. When you get nighttime symptoms H2RA works better.

On that note, is a PPI better than a H2 in severe cases of GERD.

For example I am on 300mg of Ranitidine a day. (Once a Day)

Would getting on Nexium actually work better?

The Ranitidine does stop acid I guess, but I still get the regurgitation a lot. Just is not that sour.

Hi,
Hoarseness of voice and cough can occur in severe cases of GERD when the reflux content go high up to the throat..
PPI and lifestyle modifications would be helpful.
