I first got heartburn when I was pregnant with my son. He is now 3 1/2. For the last couple of years it has gotten worse. Up until a couple months ago it was daily, no matter what I did or ate. It would make me nauseous at times. It was often very painful. I lived off of Tums. I even did the Prilosec 14 day treatment. You are only supposed to repeat it every few months but as soon as I stopped taking them it came back. I'm not really overweight and I don't eat terribly, but I went ahead and started working out more and eating better. That helped some but I still take an acid reducer several times a week. Is this something more than heartburn? This can't be healthy.
