Help. I am in a very difficult situation. Acid Reflux related.

Hello, I am a 20 year male. I am in a difficult situation right now. I have been having this choking feeling in my throat for the past 6 months, It started since March. I also had 2 small pea-sized lumps in my throat  which I wanted him to check out as well to see if the two were related to each other. In March I visited my family physician, told him about how I was feeling and he felt the lumps and said that they were lymph nodes. He said they were insignificant but  he  sent me to get a blood test anways and the result came out normal. He told me of various ways how lymph nodes could increase in size and said everyone can feel their lymph nodes, so I decided myself to see another doctor to get a 2nd opinion on it.   I went to the 2nd physician and I told him how I was feeling, and updated him with everything that has been going on. I've been going to the 2nd physician since april to june. I still had the choking feeling and the lumps. He basically said the same thing as my family physician, but to go to a ENT to check it out. I went to ENT. They found that I had minor acid reflux, and that is the reason why I have the choking sensation. I also asked him about my lymph nodes, he felt them but again said they were insignificant. So he gave me some medication for my acid reflux, I have been taking it ever since June 16th. Every single day one pill a day for 2 months. It did absolutely nothing for me, I still have the chocking sensation. So in August I went back to him, he scoped me again and said that the swelling from the acid reflux is gone.  I told him that I still had the choking sensation, and he said that it might take some more time and that was it with him. I went to the ER because the choking was feeling worse. They told me it might be GERD. So they gave me xanax (it didnt do anything) and they requested for me to see a gastroenterologist. I have yet to see the Doc, but I want to know why now? I never drank alcohol in my life or smoked. I live a healthy life
