How much for the Nissen Surgery

Hi, I would like to know how expensive is the Nissen surgery for GERD in average?

I live in Canada and there is no gastroenterologist that can perform this surgery, because here we proceed with this operation in less than 0.01% of cases, even if it is the only remaining option (the drugs do not work more in my case - I am now at 2 Nexium a day + 4 Zantac 150mg and I still have severe reflux). So I'm seriously thinking to invest in a surgery in the USA.

May I ask, do u follow the diet along with lifestyle changes?

Have u had a PH test to verify u have too much acid?...too little acid can make u feel the same as too much ....with the amount of meds u r on u do not have acid to break down the food.

The nissen can fail and cause other issues.....I did not have the surgery and have heard many complaints from those that have had it.

Do check into the PH test and H.Pylori levels.....

I actually did all the tests for bacteria (I did 3 gastroscopy) including H. Pylori, but I didn't do the PH test.
