How do I come off Nexium or esomeprazole?
Is it OK to take 1 capsule every other day for a week , then every 3rd day for two doses, then every 5th day; then stop?
I want to use homeopathic meds. I'm 75.

Thats because your body is trying to adjust and go back to it's natural balance before the manmade chemicals were introduced. itis part of the process. you can probably take a milder form of anti acids to help wheen you off.

Be advised that many people experience "heartburn bounce" when stopping. Meaning it typically will get worst for a while.
