How to cure acid reflux

by Ernie_420, Jun 16, 2009 07:06PM
I have heartburn all the time.  I take otc meds like zantac And others but they only work for a few hours.  Is there any home remedy that would work?  I wake up at night and cant sleep it gets so bad.  I have quit eating certain foods but that hasn't helped a lot

HI...have u been to a dr?....self medication doesn't always work...the dr can find out what the root cause is and give meds appropriate for ur condition and system.

Not all meds work for everyone.....there r PPI's and HII's.....they work differently, but both types of meds are for acid reflux and GERD.

Diet and lifestyle changes are a big part of feeling better....u may still have something in ur diet that is affecting u......and stress will also affect the acid production in ur stomach.

Post an update on ur progress
