Hyperacidity, dyspepsia

Hi, I am a 26 year old man & i suffer from a very peculiar disease after every few months.Whenever it starts i dont feel like eating anything, feel sleepy, constipated slightly, my tongue becomes white in colour, hair fall, lot of weakness & bad breadth comes from my mouth till the disease period continues. After some days or sometimes even months, it gets cured & then i can eat everything & lead a very active life. I have already done Endoscopy & sonography & blood tests, H pylori infection tests. All reports have been normal. Earlier I thought it was hyperacidity because it once got cured by famotidine but now it is not getting cured even by pantoprazole 40 mg daily since 25 days . I have shown to many physicians but they just prescribe me appetite stimulants & they dont seem to have any effect on me. Can you please tell me know the reason for my suffering & its cure as it is badly affecting my quality of life. Thanks a lot for all your help.

Hi,
Tongue becoming white in color and weakness indicates anemia.
You have recurrent anemic episodes.
I would suggest that you consult a hemotologist for complete evaluation.
There are a few GI causes of anemia also. But the initial evaluation of anemia has to be done by the hematologist.
