I have GERD but cant burp and never been able to

Hi everyone from downunder, i was diagnosed with GERD 6 months ago after 2 x Emergency Dept trips for chest pain (50 Yrs old, male). CT, Xrays, Stress echo, etc all neg. Prescribed Omeprazole, which seems to have some effect.
The chest pain is a concern. its not a sharp pain, but more heaviness with an aching pain in the back. looking for any advice.  have today heard about Apple Cider so will go that a go.  One thing to mention is that I have never ever burped in my life and this has always left me bloated after big meals.  My older Brother is exactly the same.
Any advice to help me with the burning chest pain and treatment of GERD.

Apple cider vinegar is a good supplement, but make sure it is raw and unfiltered. You can get it at the health food store, and it is far superior to the stuff from the supermarket. It is extremely strong and effective, so you only need a teaspoon in a glass of water at a time.  My husband had GERD, but it is now under control to the point that I consider him "normal". His chest pain was to the point that he thought he was having a heart attack multiple times. The pain in your back could be from nerves that are connected to your chest area that wrap around and cause "remote" pain. Reflux somtimes irritates the chest and activates those nerves. He also had that. I'm not sure why you can't burp. How uncomfortable. My husband was extremely burpy and gassy, so I started giving him wheatgrass juice or aloe juice before bed, because it does something to neutralize gas, something with balancing PH levels. Whatever the case, it works, especially before bed. He also takes Source Naturals Broad Spectrum digestive enzymes with every meal. When he feels reflux or heartburn coming on, he takes 2 activated charcoal capsules. These soak up the excess acid and gas. Don't take with meds as they will soak that up too. Finally, he eats yogurt everyday for the good bacteria to keep digestion going smoothly. All can be found at health food store. He swears by this regimen and feels like a new person. He is completely med free, too. It sounds like a lot to do, but you get used to it after a while, and it beats living with the awful symptoms!
