What really stresses me that I fear it might be something else causing all this trouble and you can easily know what I am thinking about .... I don't know what's the connection between it and anything serious but the time is what really stresses me
Actually I don't feel it's related to meals , all the problem is in my voice , can't talk for long until it hurts , he knew that and told me last time to stop the treatment three weeks later ... He also told me it's all about stress if I can overcome it it will be fine !!
i seem to have aproblem with any of my doctors telling me if i need a follow up or not .i dont know why they leave it up to me to monitor myself medically .do you notice a problem with certain foods lactose or gluten?
And as I mentioned this happened after three visits with lite improvement
That's disappointing to hear ... My ENT specialist dealt with it as a common disease and didn't worry about it , he didn't even ask me to come for follow up !!
im on 4 months i take 40 mg nexium at night and pecid ac during the day
Is it normal for it to continue for two months ??
Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.
All issues like this will take time to resolve...continue with your meds.....as directed by the Dr....
Avoid foods that will trigger a flare, and try elevating the head of your bed...this can help keep the acids down and away from your vocal cords.....
It is a good thing you got out of a stressful situation, but that will not cause the symptoms to go away right away...it takes time so be patient, if in a few weeks you see no improvements do see your Dr again.
