Lap Nissen Wrap Slippage.

What are the symptoms of Lap Nissen wrap slippage?? I had a lap nissen about 5 years ago. Now I'm experiencing reflux, muscle stiffness in my back, and fatigue.

Hmmmmm, u pose a good question and I am sorry, not being in the medical field or experience with a Nissen...I have no idea...ask when u go for the swallow test.....and please let us know what u find out....

I want to know what it can't see as pertaining to the nissen wrap.  
Can they the UpperGI/Barium swallow tell if the wrap is too tight?
Can it absolutely tell if the stomach is touching the diaphram?

As far as I know, my Barium test was good.  Can any of you comment on your Barium tests?

Yes, have the barium test. Just had mine today. I'll let you know the results.

Just had mine checked.  Have been having problems and went back to the surgeon.  He sent me to have a barium test.  Can clearly see fundoplication.  Suggest you o the same.

I had some upper chest and should pain?  The Nissen had slipped.  I just had a redo and doing fine except the pain on the left hasn't disappeared.

I have not had this proceedure.From what I am reading is a slipped Nissen can be considered a failed proceedure when the patient has a return of their original symptoms.
