Left side chest pain

I am suffering from pain in left side for the last 7-8 years and symptoms are as below. These sysmptoms are only intermittent, not continuous. I am 43 years of age.
1. Sometimes it feels as if somebody is piercing pins.
2. Feeling of upper side full and feel mild palpitations.
3. This mostly increases after food.
4. I used to play cricket regularly, quite vigourously till I stopped playing almost completely since last 6-7 years.
5. I feel Iam still physically fit. I do not get tired easily when I play outdoor games or when I climb a staircase.
6. While sleeping at night, the uncomfort seems to increase and I sleep with left side touching the bed
7. I do not get any uncomfortable feelings when I play or when Iam busy in some activities.

Please advice so that I get rid of this.
