The best thing u can do, is keep the journal, bcuz even foods on a safe list may affect u...we all r diff and we have to find what is safe for us and use those lists as a guideline.
Take the greens out of ur diet awhile and see if there is a diff...add them back....without dressing...and see what happens and then add the dressings.....it could be what u put on something.....I hope this was not confusing.
The meds are for two diff things...the prilosec would be for the gerd and the dicyclomine is for ur IBS...it controls the spasms in the intestines.
If u still have gerd it can be bcuz of diet and u r not on meds to help it.....ask ur dr to suggest a dosage and a med for u...maybe a HI instead of a PPI.
Below is copied and pasted from the web....it is always a good idea to look at meds we r on for possible casues to how we r feeling.

Side Effects of Dicyclomine - for the consumer
Dicyclomine
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Dicyclomine:
Blurred vision; constipation; decreased sweating; difficulty sleeping; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; lightheadedness; loss of taste; nausea; nervousness.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Dicyclomine:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); agitation; confusion; diarrhea; difficulty focusing your eyes; difficulty moving; difficulty speaking; difficulty urinating; disorientation; exaggerated sense of well-being; fainting; hallucinations; pounding in the chest; rapid heartbeat; short-term memory loss; unusual weakness; vomiting.
Right now I am on dicyclomine and it worked at first but not too much lately. Before that I was on priosec which also worked at first. I don't know if it is from my anxiety for ibs. Got it feeling it might be both. I am not a patient person, but I think you are right. I have to be patient and give the meds time to work. Also eas wondering if you know if greens like lettuce can make things worse. I eat a lot of salad. I do avoid tomaoes and onions.
HI and welcome to the GERD forum .
DO u know what has caused ur gerd?...ur IBS?...Anxiety?.....
Yes I get what I call heart palps...like I was frightened....I have a hiatal hernia...was dx with IBS, but recently found out it was from another condition just dx.
May I ask what meds u r on, and are u avoiding foods that agrivate ur conditions?
Also, meds for gerd can take awhile to appear effective, u must be patient. And continue to follow the lifestyle changes and foods to avoid tips.
Are u on meds for the IBS or anxiety?
