My accident didn't kill me, but this bile will.

I recently had an almost fatal accident and had to have surgery involving my stomach and duodenum.  After a week,  the pain is almost gone, but the excess bile after i eat anything is literally wasting me away as I constantly vomit.  I have talked with the trauma doctors who performed my surgery and they tell  me to eat small meals as my stomach is re-learning how to process food.   Not to lay down after I eat and at bedtime to sleep sitting upright.  This is so hard to get any restful sleep.  Is there anything else my doctors can or should give me to help with the bile problem? and how long for my guts to get 're-aligned.'

yes sir,
i had to have my duodenum removed because it was damaged and the doctors reattached my intestines to the bottom of my stomach instead of on the side.
